Auckland Indoor Bowling Centre would like to welcome everyone to the 2025 Indoor Bowling season! We have started our season well with 3 of our championships being played.
The Championship Triples was won by Don Fremlin, Judy Cooke, Josie Stier (Hobsonville). The Mens Fours was won by Matthew Farquhar, Paul Psaila, Ray Wyatt, Murray Meiklejohn (Portage). The Ladies Fours was won by Mesha White, Carol Wright, Carol White, Jill McQuoid (Te Atatu). The Mixed Fours was won by Nathan Trowell, Paul Wright, Mesha White, Carol Wright (Te Atatu).
Our rep season has also gotten underway with 3 rep fixtures being played. Auckland played their way to victory in the super 16, with 3 players top scoring with 6/6 wins. Well done to Georgia Fisher, Matthew Farquhar and Rodney Mills for top scoring this fixture. In the Ladies 8 Auckland was able to come away with the win, without the last round of fours being played. Well done to Carol Wright who top scorered this event with 8/8 wins. The Auckland B-Rep side came away in second place in the Drifter Trophy. This was the first time Auckland has played in this event and it went very well. Top scorers for this event were Josh Smith and Ryan Banks 5/6 wins!
