New Mako Playing Gear & Merchandise For 2026

Playing gear and merchandise orders have now closed. 

Our full range of BMRC Mako playing gear and supporter merchandise is below - watch this space for when ordering will be open again soon. 

The range includes items for both players and supporters, such as:

  • Hoodies

  • Other club merchandise

Fresh Threads: The Gilbert Era

BMRC is excited to announce a new chapter for the club as we move into 2026 with our new apparel partner, Gilbert.

This marks an important milestone. For the first time in club history, our Year 1 players will wear the exact same playing strip as our Senior team, reinforcing the strong One Club culture we’re building across all grades.

Playing Jerseys

All brand-new playing jerseys will be provided to players at no additional cost.

Jerseys will be issued by coaches at the start of the season and must be returned at the end of the year.

What Do I Need to Play Rugby?

For junior players (Year 1 and above), you will need:

  • Club Playing Jersey – issued by your coach for the season and returned afterwards

  • Shorts

  • Socks

  • Mouthguard

  • Rugby boots

Shorts Transition

If you have playing shorts from last season, they are still perfectly fine to wear this year as we transition to the new Gilbert playing kit.
