A lot is happening across the Zone as we gear up for the new season! From pre-season preparations and the completion of AGMs to the induction of new Board and Committee members, team registrations closing, and the rollout of Club Connects, it's a busy time for everyone.

In this update, we launch a new NNZ umpiring campaign - Behind the Whistle. Ask us about the t-shirts we are wearing in the above pic next time we are out and about. I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to the North Canterbury Netball Centre for the warm welcome Nick and I received at their first Club Connect event of the season. It was a pleasure to be part of such a vibrant and enthusiastic gathering attended by approximately 30 dedicated individuals. The event provided an excellent opportunity to connect with fellow netball enthusiasts, share insights, and foster a sense of community as we embark on another exciting season. Thank you once again to everyone involved for making us feel so included and for organising such a successful event.

Zone Theory Exam

Registrations are now open for the Zone Theory Exam, which will be conducted online from 6pm – 8.30pm on Monday 19th May.

To be eligible for the Zone Theory Exam, you must have a current Centre Umpire Award.

When registering for the exam, please ensure their Centre is entered so they can be approved by the Zone. 

Registrations will close at midnight on the 28th April, and no late registrations are permitted.
