MANAGE OR COACH TOUCH

DEVELOPING OUR YOUNG PLAYERS

From being a helper, supporter, referee or captain to a parent you will be coaching others in some form, even if you didn’t know.

As a coach, you play a vital role in developing players' skills, promoting inclusivity, and fostering a love for the game. Here’s an overview of the key skills you’ll develop as a coach and the rewards that come with this role.

Here are some coaching rewards:

Personal Satisfaction: Witnessing your players improve and succeed can be incredibly fulfilling.

Community Building: Coaching fosters a sense of community and belonging. You’ll be part of a supportive network of players, parents, and other coaches, creating lasting relationships.

Skill Development: Coaching is a continuous learning experience. You’ll enhance your own understanding of the game and improve your coaching techniques over time.

Influencing Lives: As a coach, you have the opportunity to inspire and influence young athletes, instilling values like teamwork, resilience, and sportsmanship.

Physical Activity: Being involved in touch rugby keeps you active and engaged in the sport, promoting your own physical fitness and well-being.

Fun and Enjoyment: The joy of the game—both on and off the field—provides countless moments of fun and laughs with our young players.
