RANGI RURU EXCHANGE

The annual Rangi Ruru Exchange will be hosted by Rangi Ruru on Tuesday 8 August.  Please see programme.

Rangi Ruru Junior Exchange:

Yesterday, students from years 7 to 10 travelled to Christchurch to compete in the annual junior exchange against Rangi Ruru Girls School. Each team played hard, played fair and in the spirit of goodwill and friendship. The results are as follows (teams in bold are Craighead teams): 

1. Basketball – Yr10A/Junior A – 35-19 to Rangi. Sportsmanship award Milla McKenzie.
2. Basketball – Yr9A/Junior B – 37-22 to Craighead. Sportsmanship award Maia Tuanui.
3. Netball – 8A teams – 21-14 to Craighead. Sportsmanship award Bella Hanifin.
4. Netball – 7A teams – 27-1 to Craighead. Sportsmanship award Cleo Attridge.
5. Netball – 9A teams – 39-17 to Rangi. Sportsmanship award Jasmine Payne.
6. Netball – 9B teams – 32-15 to Rangi. Sportsmanship award Harper Pirake.
7. Netball – 10A teams – 28-18 to Rangi. Sportsmanship award Asha Hollamby.
8. Netball – 10B teams – 33-22 to Craighead. Sportsmanship award Maia Tuanui.
9. Hockey – 9/10 teams – 6-0 to Rangi. Sportsmanship award Charlotte Shefford.
10. Hockey – 7/8A/8A teams – 3-2 to Craighead. Sportsmanship award Greer Pratt.
11. Hockey – 7/8B/7A teams – 4-1 to Craighead. Sportsmanship award Zoe Smith.
12. Football – Yr7-10 teams – 9-1 to Rangi. Sportsmanship award Charlotte Fenn. 

This makes the overall result a DRAW! Congratulations to all those that were involved in the participation and organisation of the day.
