The junior teams have been playing for Southern Club, which is run by Tuhirangi.  This year the Featherston Netball Club has decided we would bring back our juniors for the future of the club.

A special thank you must go to the three Featherston schools in the district; Featherston Primary School, St. Teresa's School and South Featherston School   Biggest appreciation to Gina Smith, Principal of Featherston School who has been 100% supportive of assisting with the juniors.

On 7th March 2020 the Featherston Sports Hub held their annual Open Sports Day for all codes, we managed to sign up 150 children to play; rugby, netball, football, cricket and participate in groups.

The Featherston Netball Club was overwhelmed by the number of children interested in playing netball, it was approximately 50 children.  We managed to register children of years 1-7, which has made up 3 big teams.

A special thank you must go to Thomas and Makere Sargent of Sargent Builders Featherston who have kindly sponsored the new hoodies for our children.  We are grateful to Bevan & Jacqui Morland of The Offering cafe in Greytown who have sponsored the Player of the Day reward; a voucher to have a free milkshake of the child's choice.
