In 2021 the Featherston Netball Club has entered our Featherston Sargent Builders Junior Netball Team 1 into the senior competition in Masterton.  They are currently playng Senior A and have improved endlessly, their game overall has been phenominal.  This year the team are: 

Arini Aporo, Ashanti Hawkins, Bobbieg Matenga, Lilly Padlie, Lyric Clifton-Sinclair, Ane Pailate, Chanel Parr, Provynce Rogers, Madison Taylor, Bailey Newbould, Mirabelle Fesuiai-Wallace, Leighabella Ginnane and Shaia Taitapanui.. 

The new members of this team are Ashanti Hawkins from Martinborough, who is a talented all round player with the ability to play most of the positions on court, Chanel Parr playing at WD and has shown a great eye for intercepting in the mid court, this is her first year of playing but Chanel is not only fit but excellent both on defence and attack play, then Bobbieg Matenga originally from Martinborough, she has a great rebound in the circle and possesses outstanding elevation.  

During the 2021 season, these young ladies have gained some excellent experience playing at this level,  and have taken this to their junior games on Tuesday nights. The experience received will also help these young ladies for future gain at secondary school and beyond.
