First Kicks/Fun Football - Term 4

We have an opportunity for our youngest existing or new players to "have a go" and join in a 8 week programme of fun activity playing football down at Ferrymead Park.

Boys and girls turning 4, 5, 6 and 7 in 2026 (First Kicks) and turning 8 or 9 in 2026 (Fun Football) are welcome to register and come down. 

When:          Mon 12th Oct , Mon 19th Oct, Mon 2nd Nov, Mon 9th Nov, Mon 16th Nov, Mon 23rd Nov, Mon 30th Nov & Mon 7th Dec.

Where:        Ferrymead Park

Time:          4pm to 5pm

Cost:          $64 ($8 a session)

First Kicks (4 - 7 years) 

Our First Kicks programme is for boys and girls (born 2019-2022) who are just starting on their football journey and want to learn basic skills, play games and make new friends.

Where: Ferrymead Park.

When: Saturday mornings, 9-10am for 4-5 years, 10-11am for 6-7 years, starting on May 2nd, 2026.

Format: 30 minutes - fun skill based activities. 30 minutes - 3v3 mini games.

Teams: No fixed teams.

What to bring: Football boots, shin guards, drink bottle, weather appropriate clothing.

Ferrymead Fun Football  (8 - 9 years) 

Our Fun Football programme is designed for 8–9 year olds who want to learn, improve, and most importantly — enjoy the game. We focus on skill development, confidence building, teamwork, game understanding, and having fun in a positive environment.

Where: Ferrymead Park

When: Saturday mornings 9:30am, staring on May 2nd 2026.

Format: 30 minutes - skill station rotation. 45 minutes - 3x 15 minute 5v5 games.

Girls Only First Kicks (4 - 9 years)

Alongside the above mixed First Kicks programme we will be again running our girls only option. It will follow the same format as the boys/mixed programme with fun activites and mini games and will be led by our awesome coaches from the Women's 1st team! Times and age group splits will slightly be slightly different to the mixed programme - see below for more info.
