NZ's PROUDEST WOMEN'S CRICKET CLUB
St Albans Cricket Club is based centrally at Hagley Park with our clubrooms looking across the new Hagley Park International Cricket ground. Our Premier women's homeground is in Hagley Park - right next to where the womens final of the world cup was in 2022.
HISTORY
Saints has the proudest record of any NZ club. Our women and girls have won over 100 womens titles since 1938 - including 40 titles by our Premier Women. We have had 25 women represent NZ including Phyllis Blackler who represented NZ for 28 years. In addition we have had over 50 women play at the top regional level for Canterbury, Otago and Wellington. We have produced 3 NZ womens captains including last seasons captain - Amy Satterthwaite. No other club in NZ even comes close to this proud record.
The key to our success is having a strong junior girls base along with excellent coaching. Females are very much a part of our club - they are a key part of the club.
We are always looking for new players so don't hesitate to get in contact:
