Donations and Bequests

The facilities and resources that the Club enjoys today are in large part the result of generous support of past members by way of donations and bequests.

Many current members continue this fine tradition by way of voluntary support and donations. This is greatly appreciated and the continuation of such support will enable the Club to progress in the future while maintaining subscriptions and table money at low levels (currently they are among the lowest in the country). This helps make the Club facilities and competitive bridge accessible to the largest possible number.

Any member who wished to consider leaving a bequest to the Club should contact their lawyer to make the necessary arrangements with the Club's lawyer.

Bequests may be kept anonymous, specifically acknowledged or permanently recorded in an appropriate manner. Current examples of permanently recorded bequests are the Shelia Stubbings Salver, the Enda Bach Prize and the painting donated by Shona Mitford.
