Every player should be familiar with the following laws relating to play at the table

9.A1:           Any player may draw attention to an irregularity during auction period whether or not it is their turn to call.

9 A2:           Declarer or either defender (NOT dummy!) may draw attention to an irregularity during play .  Dummy may draw attention to an irregularity after play is finished.

65.B3:          Declarer may require a card pointed incorrectly to be corrected, dummy or either defender may only draw attention to card pointed incorrectly before a lead is made to the following trick.  After play is finished anyone may point out the error.

42:              Dummy may ask declarer (but not defenders), when he has failed to follow suit, whether he has a card of that suit.  Dummy otherwise must not participate in the play.

41.B:            Commencement of Play:

Before the opening lead is faced (ie: withdrawn from leader's hand but not yet turned over), the leader's partner and declarer may require a review of the auction, or request an explanation of opponents call. Declarer or either defender may at his first turn to play a card, require a review of the auction. This right expires when he plays a card. Questions may be asked throughout play at your turn to play (not your partners).

66.A&B:        Not looking at played cards

So long as his/her side has not led or played to the next trick declarer or either defender may, until he has turned his own card face down, can ask to see all cards played in that trick. Once you have turned your own card over you can no longer look at other players last played card.

Own Last Card:  Until a card is led to the next trick, declarer or either defender may inspect but not expose, his/her own last card.
