Want to try something new for yourself or the kids? Looking for a fun and inclusive sport to play in summer? Why not come down and give softball a go! With grades available from U7s all the way through to Seniors it is a sport for everyone.

Our Have a Go Day is your chance to come down and have a go! Get the kids down to see what its like to catch, hit, and run the bases, see how fast they can make it around the diamond. Check out some teams training and join in on the fun!

Committee members, players, coaches and managers will be available to answer any questions you may have on the day.

ABOUT THE HALSWELL SOFTBALL CLUB

Halswell Softball Club is based at the Halswell Domain, Christchurch. Although this is our home ground, we have players from across the city.

Halswell Softball Club prides itself on being an inclusive, ethnically diverse, family orientated club. We have players of all ages, from three years old to seventy years old and everything in between. Our players compete at both representative level and social levels. There is something for everyone!

In the 2024/2025 season, we entered eleven junior teams and seven senior teams into the Canterbury Championships. We are continuing to grow and develop as a club and welcome all those new to the club.

Halswell Softball has a commitment to continue developing our junior and senior players, enabling them to improve their skills, to compete with fairness and gamesmanship. Improving the culture of the game is a key aspect we continue to strive towards.
