We have online registrations in August, September and October. We begin to organise our teams mid-September. A Registration day is being held on Sunday the 29th August 10am - Noon at Halswell Domain, come down meet the committee and other members of Halswell Softball.

New to Halswell Softball Club?

If you are moving from another club CSA requires that you transfer from your old club to our club to ensure all financial and equipment obligations are met.  This requires a formal transfer letter. You can download the Transfer form from the CSA webpage forms and publications by clicking here >>

For registrations we ask that a $50 deposit for junior players and $100 deposit for senior players are paid on registration to reserve your place on a team/s.  This deposit will go toward paying the full subscription rate for registered players.  Full payment of subs will be due by 31 October 2021.

Frequently Asked Questions

  1. What happens next now that I have registered?  Teams will be formed in early to mid September. once formed, you will be contacted by a coach for training  and team information.
  2. When is training?  Training night and time will depend on the Coach's (and player's) availability.  Once teams are organised, the coach/manager will be in touch.
  3. When and where are junior games played?  
    1. T-Ball: Hagley Park South 9.30am-10.30am on Saturday morning
    2. U11/U13: Hagley Park South 11.00am-12.00pm on Saturdays. 
    3. U15: Mizuno Ballpark 10:00am-11.30am on Saturdays. 
    4. U18: Mizuno Ballpark Saturday 10.00am-11.30am.  
    5. U23: Mizuno Ballpark Monday  6pm              Occasionally there are games played at other parks for special events like Club Days.
  4. I want to help with my child's team. what do I need to do?  Just ask!  We are always looking for people to help coach, manage or assist in any way.  We can provide training.
