We’re excited to share that Hibiscus Coast AFC Term 4 selection for our Academy & Talent Development Programme (TDP) Youth is now open! 

The TDP provides young footballers with the opportunity to train in a professional, supportive environment, develop their skills with experienced coaches, and progress through an NZF Accredited Talent Development Programme pathway. Key benefits include: The only accredited TDP in the whole Hibiscus area  Advanced coaching tailored to each player’s development Opportunities to challenge themselves in a competitive yet supportive environment Pathways into representative football and overseas opportunities  Pathways to the NRFL Premiership (top level of auckland football) Youth Partnership with Auckland FC  Athletic Development support through qualified Sport and Exercise specialists  

Joining the TDP means more than just improving football skills. It’s about building confidence, learning teamwork, and experiencing the excitement of representing Hibiscus Coast AFC on a bigger stage. Whether students dream of playing in the NRFL Youth Premiership, stepping into representative pathways, or preparing for the next stage in their football pathway, this is the ideal place to start.

When: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday - 5.30-6.45pm

Junior Development Programme (JDP) 

Outplay, Outrun, Outthink.

Hibiscus Coast AFC is excited to announce the launch of our Term 4 Junior Development Program, designed to support the ongoing growth and progression of our young players while preparing for the 2027 season.

This program plays a key role in support players ready to progress into through our development pathway, providing a professional and enjoyable environment that focuses on developing both the player and the person.

Program Purpose

The Term 4 Junior Development Program aims to deliver high-quality training to enhance the technical, tactical, and physical abilities of our junior players. It is intended for those committed to improving their football and aspiring to reach higher levels within our club pathway. 

Start Date: Week of Tuesday 13th October 2026

Duration: 8 Weeks

Training Days:

• Tuesday: 4:15 – 5:30 PM
• Thursday: 4:15 – 5:30 PM
• Location: Hibiscus Coast AFC – Stanmore Bay Park

Age Group (based on 2027 season): 

• U9: Born in 2018
• U10: Born in 2017
• U11: Born in 2016
• U12: Born in 2015

Emerging Talent Group (ETG)

Commit More. Improve More. Become More.

We are excited to launch the Coast Academy Emerging Talent Group (ETG) Term 4 + APL (Academy Premier League) for JDP players born 2013-2017. 

As an accredited Youth Talent Development partner with Auckland FC, our mission is to provide high-quality coaching that bridges the gap between community play and the professional pathway. The ETG is designed for JDP players who want to train more, improve faster, and prepare for the Youth Talent Development Programme (TDP) at age 13.

U10: Born 2016 - Training session + APL Game

U11: Born 2015 - Training session + APL Game

U12: Born 2014 - APL Game only

U13: Born 2013 - APL Game only

U14: Born 2012 - APL Game only

What the Programme Offers:

• A Third Weekly Session: High-intensity, 75-minute training sessions delivered by professional coaches (Wednesdays) for U10 & U11 players only.
• Advanced Curriculum: Focused on the technical and tactical skills required for the next level of the game.
• Clear Pathway: The best possible preparation for the New Zealand Football Accredited Talent Development environment.
• High Competitive Games through the Academy Premier League in Term 4 (Sundays) for U10-U14 players.
• Includes Coast Academy Training Top (Doubles as APL Match Top) 

Schedule & Details:

Start Date: Week of Wednesday 14th October 2026

Duration: 8 Weeks

ETG Training session: Wednesdays 4:30 - 5:15pm (Current U10 & U11 Players only)

APL Game Day: Sundays - Time TBC closer to the start of the competition (played in the morning) Current U10-U14 players

Cost: $260 for U10 & U11 Players - Wednesday training session plus Sunday APL Game each week

Cost: $200 for U12, U13, U14 Players - Sunday APL Game each week
