Howick Junior Athletics Club welcomes both new and returning club members back to the 2014/2015 Junior Athletics Season. There is once again a full calendar of events for your children to compete in and these include Ribbon Days hosted by other clubs and Championship events hosted by Counties Manukau Junior Committee and the Athletics Auckland Committee. We do encourage every child registered to compete at these events. Howick caters for children from the age of 2-14 and of any ability.
Registration and Fees
All fees paid to the Club contains affiliation levies to Athletics New Zealand, Athletics Auckland Inc and the age patches are provided for a fee by the New Zealand Childrens Committee. Our club fee covers our Track and Field activities for the season, allocated towards administration, equipment maintenance, club awards and prize giving.

Ages
Age groups are the athletes's age as at 31st December of the current year. All children compete in these age groups unless they are asked to compete in an age up from their own.
Tiny tots - 2-6 year olds
$20 per child
No uniform required.
Running shoes recommended.
Junior Athlete - 7-14 year olds
$65 x1 child
$120 x 2 children
$165 x 3 children
Uniforms additional ($25 singlet, $20 shorts)
If this is your child's first season we are required to sight a birth certificate or passport (not needed for Tiny Tots).
