2026 Trials / Team Set Up

All trials will be held at the Christchurch Netball Centre, Nga Puna Wai, Augustine Drive

Seniors (Year 9 and older)  

$50 trial fee must be paid online before participating in the trials. 

Monday 2 March 5:30-8:30pm 

Tuesday 3 March 5:30-8:30pm ​​​​​​​

Monday 9 March 5:30-8:30pm ​​​​​​​

When you come to the trial, we will make note of the two positions you wish to trial for. The $50 trial fee is non refundable but will become part of your subs if you accept a place in a HRLNC team. You will need to pay the balance of the subs before uniform collection.

Social and Masters - there is no trial, but please email the club with your team lists. Masters teams also need to let us know whether you want to play on Thursday nights or Saturdays.

Year 7 / 8 -  Tuesday 10 March 5:30 - 7:00pm

This trial is about getting players of similar ability and year level into teams with similar numbers. It is easier for us to be able to see the players on court than try and place players into teams on paper.

Year 5 / 6 - Sunday 1 March - Halswell Netball Courts 11am-12pm

This is not a trial. Players will be grouped into teams based on age and previous netball experience, alongside friends with the overall aim of developing their skills and enjoyment of the game. If you are unable to attend pre-season training please email the club with a couple of friend's names so that we can do our best to put you in the same team.

Junior Netball Year 1-4  - We will place players into teams depending on which day you would like to play. Netball for this age group is indoors on Monday, Tuesday & Thursday afternoons at the Selwyn Sports Centre in Rolleston. On the online registration form there is a tick box to select a day that you would like to play.
