Sonya Crosby

Head of Innovation BNZ

Sonya is Proposition Lead for Every Day Banking at the BNZ. This involves working closely with customers, technology partners and across the banking ecosystem to design and deliver exceptional customer experiences, create new value and remove operational friction. 

Prior to this, Sonya was the Chief Innovation Officer at SkyCity where her role focused on creating new value across core, adjacent and breakthrough markets using innovation and human centred design thinking. 

 Other roles include GM Digital Innovation at Fonterra, Managing Director at Datamine. Sonya is a NZ CIO100 alumni, a member of the NZ Tech Leaders Executive Advisory, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and is actively involved in hackathons for social good.
