Life in Auckland

Kelston Girls’ College is based in the vibrant city of Auckland in the North Island of New Zealand. Auckland is the largest city in New Zealand and is a multi-cultural and safe city where people from many diverse backgrounds live peacefully. There are lots of fun and exciting activities to do in Auckland including sporting and cultural events, museums, theatre and art galleries and many wonderful beaches and natural environments such as forests and islands to visit.

Kelston Girls’ College is a short walk from the nearest train station which allows students the freedom to explore the city on their weekends. We are also on the doorstep of the Waitakere Ranges and the wild, beautiful beaches of the West Coast allowing students the chance to experience the nature that New Zealand is famous for.
