Kerikeri Netball Centre Twilight Competition 2026

Dates:
Thursdays, 8th October – 12th November 2026 (6 weeks)
Thursday 19th November will be held as an alternative date for any KKNC games postponed due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.


Game & Team Requirements

  • Umpires: Teams must supply their own non-playing umpire.
  • Umpire can change each week but not during a game.
  • Equipment: Each team provides their own ball and bibs.


Scoring:

  • We’re using online scoring via the My Netball Manager App (scorer codes emailed and avaiable at the control room)
  • Each team must supply their own scorer, seated at the official’s bench.
  • 2 pointers - please tap the GOAL button twice  no need to record the misses)


Rules for Mixed Teams:

  • Up to 3 males on court at one time, not in the same third.

 (e.g. GK, WD, GS is allowed)


Game Format:

  • 7-a-side 
  • Normal Netball Rules apply
  • Rolling Subs allowed for all grades
  • 2-pointers in play – goals scored from outside the circle (within the goal third) count for 2 points.

Grades & Formats

Year 7/8 Grade Format – 5:00 / 5.25pm

  • 9 round robin games (2 games per night)
  • 2x 9 minute halves (2 minute half time)
  • Teams will have 5 minutes to move to their next court
  • Final week:One full game final based on overall points

Women’s Grade Format – 5:55pm

  • 9 round robin games (2 games per night)
  • 2x 9 minute halves (2 minute half time)
  • Teams will have 5 minutes to move to their next court
  • Final week:One full game final based on overall points

Social Mixed Grade Format – 5:55 and 6.50pm

  • 4 Pools of 4 teams
  • Round robin of 3 full games
  • Re-pooled after round robin:
    • Top 2 teams from each pool
    • Bottom 2 teams from each pool
  • Overall winner based on total points
  • 4 × 9-minute quarters, with 2-minute quarter breaks and a 5-minute half-time break. 

Note: Due to high entries, 2x Social Mixed Grade Pools will play at 5:55pm.

Competitive Mixed Grade Format – 6:55pm

  • 1 pool of 6 teams
  • 5 full round robin games
  • Final week: One full game final based on overall points (1v2, 3v4, 5v6)
  • 4 × 9-minute quarters, with 2-minute quarter breaks and a 5-minute half-time break.


  • Canteen: The canteen will be open with hot food including chips, nuggets, hotdogs, pies and chicken burgers, as well as cold drinks, ice blocks and lollies. Please note there will be no coffee machine.
  • Bar: The bar will be open in the Clubrooms. Alcoholic drinks must remain within the Clubrooms and adjacent veranda area. 6.00pm onwards
  • Bay Physio: Bay Physio will be onsite in the Umpires Room. Strapping will be available for $10. Assessments are FREE. 5.30pm onwards
  • Payments: Please ensure all invoices are paid prior to taking the court each week.
