Kerikeri Netball Centre Mid Season Tournament

Thank you for registering for the 2026 Kerikeri Netball Centre Mid-Season Tournament. We’re excited to welcome your teams to what is shaping up to be a fantastic day of netball.

Venue Info:

  • Clubrooms will be open and available for your use.

  • There is space for team gazebos.


Check-In: Coaches and Managers must check in at the control room 30 minutes prior to your first game.

Umpires:

  • Umpire your own team’s games.

  • No switching umpires during a game unless due to injury.


Game Day Rules:

  • Standard netball rules apply.

  • No injury or extra time for round robin.

  • Semi-finals and Finals must not end in a draw. Scorers will use the My Netball Manager app to enter extra time if required.
  • If scores are tied at full time, a two-minute interval will be taken, followed by two three-minute halves with a one-minute changeover at half-time. If scores remain tied at the end of extra time, play will continue until one team gains a two-goal advantage and is declared the winner.


  • Rolling subs allowed only for Year 7/8.

  • Tactical changes are allowed but must not be excessive—umpires will penalise frivolous changes.

  • The umpire’s decision is final. Abuse will not be tolerated.

  • Spectators must stay off the goal lines. Bench side of the court is for PLAYERS and MANAGEMENT ONLY

  • Online Scoring only - team access codes attached. Please ensure you have the My Netball Manager App downloaded and ready to go

Male Participation:

  • Year 7/8: No restrictions 

  • Year 9/10 U14 & U16: Maximum of 2 males per team; only 1 on court at any time.

  • U18 Grade: 3 males on the court at one time. 1x Mid Court 1x Shooter 1x Circle Defender

  • Invitational Teams have a variety of players to allow for competitive matches.  3 males on the court at one time. 1x Mid Court 1x Shooter 1x Circle Defender

Code of Conduct:All participants and spectators must follow the KKNC Rules and Regulations. Unacceptable behaviour will not be tolerated. See our website for full details.


Match Format - Please take note of timings for Finals

Year 7/8 and Collegiate Grade

  • Game format: 2 x 10 min halves

  • Half-time: 2 minutes

  • Break between rounds: 8 minutes

  • Year 7 & 8 will have 2 sections - Play Round Robin and a Crossover Final

  • Collegiate Grade will have 2 sections - Play Round Robin, Crossover Semi Final and a Final (all teams play semis and finals)

U14, U16 & U18 Grades:

  • Game format: 2 x 10 min halves

  • Half-time: 2 minutes

  • Break between rounds: 8 minutes

  • All grades will play Round Robin and a Final (all teams play finals)


Points System:

  • Win: 4 points

  • Draw: 2 points

  • Loss within 3 goals: 1 point


Extras:

  • The canteen will be open with coffee, hot food, snacks and cold drinks.

  • Prize-giving will take place at 2:50pm in the clubrooms following the final round. Prizegiving is for all Grades

  • Onsite Physio in the Clubrooms- $10 charge applies to strapping. Players under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
