📌 Important Information (Please Read)

Jewellery

In accordance with netball rules, NO jewellery is permitted during games.

Earrings (including keepers), watches, bangles and all jewellery must be removed
Taping jewellery is NOT permitted
Only medical alert bracelets may be taped
Players will not be allowed on court until all jewellery is removed — no exceptions

Parents: if you are considering piercing ears, please wait until after the season, as taped earrings are not allowed.

Sideline Behaviour

Please ensure all sideline communication is positive and encouraging.

Players are here to learn, have fun, and develop their skills.

Support all players positively
Show respect to umpires, opposition teams, and volunteers
Do not comment on umpiring decisions

Many of our umpires are young and developing their confidence — please be kind and supportive.

If assistance is required during a game, please ask a Kidzplay Netball Mentor.

Parking

Allow extra time to park safely.

Please be careful where you choose to park. Auckland Transport (AT) can and do enforce parking restrictions on the roads around the venue. In particular we recommend not parking on cycle lanes or other restricted areas.

Please note: There is no parking on the cycle lanes along Rosedale Road 7 days a week. Please park either on the southern side of Bush Road (commercial area) or in streets off Rosedale Road west off the lights at the junction with Bush Road. There is also a cut through from Brigham Young Drive towards Pinehurst School which could be used when parking in surrounding streets.

Please do not park on private property and/or illegally, and show respect to local residents.

When parking in the Pinehurst car park off Rosedale Road, please do not park on the fields!

Court Protocols

Please refer to the court layout diagram and follow our guide on team and spectator positions.

This helps ensure smooth game-day operations and reduces congestion between courts.

Time Requests

We are no longer accepting time requests for the season.

Previously submitted requests will be considered where possible but are not guaranteed.

Where conflicts occur, Kidzplay will apply the request that best fits the overall draw.

Defaults

If your team is unable to play, please let us know before 7:30am on the Saturday of your game so we can notify the opposing team. This helps avoid unnecessary travel and disappointment for everyone involved.

Weather Policy

We do not cancel netball games due to wet weather.

School Holidays

There are no games on the 4th, 11th and 18th of June due to NZ Term 2 school holidays.

Games resume on Saturday, 25th July.
