Social Netball
Methven Netball Club welcomes new and returning players to Social Netball. We are a friendly country club that draws from the wider Methven area and further afield. This competition is perfect for players who find committing fully to practices and all games difficult. There are 4 different grades from a strong and competitive grade to a more social grade. Games are played in EA Networks on a Wednesday evening, .
Registration
- Social players are required to register online before trialing for selection, this helps us to get organised ahead of time.
- We ask that players register early for Social so that teams can be made up. We endeavour to put friends together where we can, however this is not always possible. At Social level it is normal to have about 12 players named in each team.
Competition
- Netball games are played on Wednesday evenings at EA Networks Centre, Ashburton. Three rounds starting at 6pm.

Practices

- Subs are expected to be paid before competition commences.
- Uniforms are supplied at no extra cost.
- Our club prides itself on maintaining a high level of sportsmanship and fair play and we require players to maintain these standards and represent the Club well both on the court and off.
- Players also must abide by Mid Canterbury’s Codes of Conduct.
