Being involved with the NAPIER ATHLETIC CLUB not only assists our members to become better athletes, but also improves their ability in other sports; by helping them run faster, jump higher and throw further.

Athletics is a foundation sport involving running, jumping, throwing and walking. These core skills are integrated into all aspects of athletics coaching and competing. The Napier Athletic Clubs role as the local Sporting Organisation for athletics is to help Napier people enjoy athletic activities whether this involves regular competitive involvement, casual participation or occasional exercise.
