Baseball in Schools

Nelson Heat Baseball Club offers a FREE Baseball In Schools programme to make baseball and teeball accessible to everyone.

Our aim is to introduce the game to our future players, plus teach tamariki the fundamentals of throwing, catching and swinging – after all these are the prerequisite skills for many sports, not just baseball and teeball.

The sessions are run by NHBC's coaches, senior players and by guest coaches.

So far, in 2022, we have taught more than 3,000 children and 100 teachers through these in-school sessions thanks to our coaches Cooper Grant and Robby Cribbs.
