The Tāhunanui Junior Development Tournament is a development tournament, all players are welcome.
Teams from Canterbury, Marlborough, Motueka, West Coast and Nelson come together to have a fun weekend of playing touch.
Sat/Sun 16-17 November 2025 (Christchurch show weekend)
The teams that Nelson Touch enters are:
- Under 12 Boys
- Under 12 Girls
- Under 14 Boys
- Under 14 Girls
In some years when we have enough numbers to create two teams for grade, players will be put into either Richmond or Tāhuna teams depending on where they go to school.
Trainings for this tournament are at the Tāhunanui training grounds when the last school touch round on Friday finishes.

Tournament Details:
- Nelson Touch will provide playing uniforms
- Games will be played Saturday and Sunday - check our Facebook/Instagram for exact dates
- Footwear must be worn
