The Committee takes on the ultimate legal and financial responsibility for all the activities of the New Era Sports Club They maintain an overview of policy and strategic direction of associated ruling bodies – Papakura Netball Centre (PNC) / Northern Netball Zone / Netball New Zealand.
Role of the Committee
- To keep informed of the activities of the club and the wider issues that affect the work of the New Era Sports Club.
- To provide strategic direction to ensure the club maintains a strong working relationship with the ruling body (PNC).
- To ensure club complies with any governing documents (e.g. Code of Conduct / Constitution of PNC / Regulations of PNC).
- To ensure the club makes efficient use of resources, in particular that all monies are applied to agreed plans and budgets.

- To ensure that risks to the club, club members are at an acceptable level and are effectively managed.
- To be accountable to membership, funders and other stakeholders.
- To ensure the club finances are properly managed.
