Womens Team Overview
Ngunguru Football Club is a community‑driven club that provides opportunities for players to develop, compete, and enjoy the game in a supportive and inclusive environment. Founded in 2023 our Women’s team has been a huge success and is a key part of this vision, offering a positive football experience for players of all levels.
The women’s team champion the club’s values and provide important leadership and role modelling for the growing female, junior and youth divisions.
The Women’s Team continues to grow in strength, skill, and participation. The team is built on strong values of teamwork, inclusiveness, and commitment—both at training and on match days. Players enjoy an encouraging environment where improvement, fitness, and enjoyment of the game are equally valued.
The women’s programme reflects the club’s dedication to expanding opportunities for female footballers and creating a pathway for women and girls to develop their skills in a safe, connected, community‑focused setting. The team plays an important role in shaping the future of women’s football within the club and the wider region.
We would LOVE to have any players who are interested in reconnecting with the game or giving it a go for the first time to get un touch. Whether you are 15 or 50 all are welcome and training typically starts in March each year.
