There are 6 Organised Club Rallies Over The Year

South Island Rally -
This rally is held in the South Island of New Zealand  each year around February.
A volunteer or a winner of a draw from the last rally held usually dictates which part of the South Island the following year it will be held.  It is not organised so two people from the same area are likely to get picked or choosen in consecutive years. This rally occurs over a weekend.  Typically assembling on a Friday night, after travelling to a start point.  Then a ride or activitiy is planned for the Saturday with an evening meal out.  Goodbye's are said on the Sunday as everyone travels back to their home towns.  The organiser chooses the events and accomodations as well as any activities/prizes etc.  See the NEWS tab for more information.

North Island Rally -
This rally is held in the North Island of New Zealand  each year around March.
A volunteer or a winner of a draw from the last rally held usually dictates which part of the North Island the following year the rally will be held in.  It is not organised that the same area is likely to be picked or choosen twice in a row.  Sometimes volunteers are asked from the Saturday night dinner, or members may approach the organiser or committee and show their interest to organise the following years events.  If there is more than one offering, then the deciding factor will be choosen on destination or club/committee approval.
This rally also occurs over a weekend.  Assembling on a Friday night, after travelling to the start.  And then a ride or activitiy is planned for the Saturday with an evening meal out.  Goodbye are said on the Sunday as everyone travels back to their home towns.  The organiser chooses the events and accomodations as well as any activities/prizes etc.

Mid Winter Rally -

F Troop Rallly -
This rally got its name by a few stories I have heard throughout my time in the club - but the best summary is an excuse to get to the AGM.  I believe there use to be a TV show based in an army kind of style (I'll find out the name) and there were a few groups.  One troop would go direct and then another that would not go direct or would go ticky touring or become lost and they were called or become the FTroop.....
These are are a great touring Rally and are usually over a a whole week which ends up at the start of the AGM.  Its a great chance to have a good ride and see a bit of the country.  Lots of adventures with the club members who are on the rally.
See the NEWS tab for more information.

This rally alternates each year between the North and South Island of New Zealands and coinsides with the AGM.   At the AGM it is open to the floor for volunteers or a club member can put their interest into the committee prior to run an FTroop for the upcoming years.  The organiser of the F-Troop usually liases with the AGM organiser too, or can occasionally run both events.  It is up to the organiser of the starting point, destinations travelled and stopped in, routes travelled, accomodation and activities sought.  The end point is typically where the AGM starts
This is usually a week prior to the AGM starting on the Sunday and ending typically the Friday before the AGM

AGM -
This is once a year and is over the 3rd weekend in November of each year.
The AGM alternates between the North and South Island of New Zealand each year.
Club Committee, President, Secretary are all voted in at the AGM.  Nomination forms are sent out in advance.
Also any discussions from the floor as well as the agenda is discussed.
A ride or event is typically organised after the AGM morning (Saturday).
Then followed by a celebratory dinner or event  in the evening and awards/prizes are presented to those club members who have run rallies, been voted as best bike/trike, editors pick, club member of the year etc.  The organisers of the AGM works with the committee to include the evening prize events into their arrangements.
Sunday morning all depart on their ways.
