Meeting up at The Best Western Motel in Wellington for dinner and pre F Troop briefing at 5.30pm.  Peter made good use of the whistle to keep us all on our toes and paying attention to his words!!!

We rode to Whanganui using mostly back roads for some fantastic scenery.  The highlight of the visit was the bus trip and the two hour scenic boat ride up and down the river.  So relaxing and BJ gave us a very informative and well delivered commentary while on the bus.

A visit to Bush Park Forest Sancturary and Historic Homestead on our way to New Plymouth proved very interesting.  A little ride further on for lunch in Hawera.

The F Troop dinner was exceptional with a guest speaker from the oil industry just about topping the amazing delivery from the week's sheriff (David Harding) and distribution of chocolate eggs!!  Nice touch.

Weather turned rainy and wet on Friday so a group of us went bowling followed by lunch and the cinema.

What a great week!!
