Southland Water Polo News

Recently we have been busy with trials, team selections, trainings, swim fit and locking in travel arrangements for our 8 teams that will be travelling for tournaments over the next few months.  These players are continually learning and developing their skills thanks to our wonderful coaches and managers who are putting a lot of time and effort into these players.  We’d like to wish our teams all the best for their tournaments.  Go out there and proudly represent Southland and your families and enjoy the opportunity!

Our Year 1-6 Friday school competition has started.  It is great to see all the players back in the water.  Don’t forget to check the draw each week Southland Water Polo Club - HOME (sporty.co.nz)

The dates for the National Tournaments for each age group is listed below: 

• U18 Nationals Div 2 Tournament   6th - 9th July - Auckland

• U16 Div 2 Nationals Div 2 Tournament  8th September - 1st October - Boys - Hawkes Bay. Girls - Rotorua

• U12 Olympic Hopefuls Tournament 26th - 28th October - Hamilton

• U14 Nationals Div 2 Tournament 12th - 15th December - Auckland
