Dear Parents and players,

Welcome to the 2022 representative season.

Covid has been a challenge yet again for our schools competition, however we have been lucky enough to continue delivering our competition with little disruptions.

The Senior players have been busy training in Term one to prepare for their nationals, and we are looking forward to getting all of our age group teams back in the water.

Congratulations to our coaches and managers.  We have manager vacancies - if you are keen to join our team, please go to our website and register your interest under the coaches tab.

Training Wet and Dry

The pool is closing for maintenance from 30th May to the end of term two, so we have had to arrange gym sessions for our players offering strength and fitness once a week.

We will also start our Swim Fit sessions in this term.  These are compulsory for all rep players who are not currently swimming twice a week with a swim coach.  You will have noted this on registration - if your situation has changed please contact your coach to advise.

Pool Trainings - We are training all the Seniors (18U & 16U) and Juniors (14U & 12U) players as one group. This enables the numbers to run game-like drills and scrimmages.

Term two training for these age groups are as follows:

Seniors Monday 2nd May - Friday 20th May:

Squad trainings - Monday and Wednesday nights 7.30 -  9pm, and Fridays 5 - 6pm.

Swim fit sessions - Mondays 7 - 8am and Fridays 4 - 5pm.  (starts Friday 6th May)

It is expected that the players are ready poolside at 7.20pm for these trainings.

Senior dry trainings will start on Wednesday 1st June - 6-7pm @ F45

Please contact your coach/manager to advise if your player has a conflict with this time, so we can arrange an alternative time.

Juniors Friday 6th May - 20th May.

Squad trainings - Friday 3:45 - 5pm

Swim fit sessions - Mondays 7-8am and Fridays 5-6pm.  (starts Friday 6th May)

Training Fees

Swim Fit fees are to be confirmed.

It is very important for you to advise if your player can not make trainings, this assists in training drills & numbers available.

Training Weekend  - Friday 27th May - Sunday 29th May

We have been fortunate to secure Brendan Horan and his son Kiahi in delivering a training weekend end of May.

Brendan has coached and played for many years both nationally and internationally and have played for both NZ and Australia.   He has a unique perspective on valuing and building skills for clubs, running camps for players of all age groups and coaches too.  Kiahi has played for NZ at the world youth games in Hungary, won a test series with the NZ Schoolboys team against Australia and is currently on a fully paid university scholarship in America.

Below is an outline of the training weekend session times, the cost for the full weekend is $25.00 per player plus pool entry.

Please complete the form below to show your players interest in attending.
