We are proud of everyone who wears our uniform and plays for SK Softball, regardless of game outcomes.

• We hold weekly presentations every Saturday, where we celebrate the achievements of our players and name the player of the day for each team.
• T-Ball players of the day receive the Golden Glove award which they hold onto for a week. 
• We feature our junior teams at weekly presentations, putting them in the spotlight, introducing them to the Club and telling everybody a little bit about them.
• Team results and Players of the Day are published on our website and Facebook page. 
• Teams support each other at games, and senior players mentor junior players. 

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Canterbury & NZ Level Representation

Over the years we’ve had players selected at junior and senior level to play for Canterbury, be part of NZ Development squads and some of our ladies have represented NZ. We provide support for these players in all their fundraising ventures, and provide a fee reduction for any junior player who travels with a representative team.

Aside from player representation at Canterbury & NZ level, we have members who have gained NZSA Coaching qualifications, coached Canterbury teams, and managed Canterbury or NZ Teams.

Communication

Members are kept informed throughout the season via our website, Facebook page, newsletters, text, emails, notices posted at the Clubrooms and announcements at weekly presentations.

Members can also talk to anyone on the Softball Committee if they have questions, concerns or need information.

Family Fun

We’re not just about softball- we are also about family & fun.  Throughout the season we hold a number of events and have plenty of fun times including
