Fees

We aim to keep our registration fees as low as possible. A number of families have parents and children playing, or have children playing in more than one team and we do take that into account when setting fees.  However we have to cover CSA affiliation fees, membership to Kereru Sports & Cultural Club, Player Rep Vouchers, and put aside money for uniforms & equipment. 

Payment of Fees 

Fees are due by the 31st October each season. 

We prefer not to collect cash for fees. You can pay by

• EFTPOS at the Clubrooms
• Direct credit SK Bank Account 03-0814 0284786-00. Please put the Players name in the reference field so we know who to allocate the payment to.
• If you must pay in cash please see Gail & make sure you are given a receipt.

If you are having genuine issues paying in full by the due date contact Gail  The Committee will consider an instalment payment plan where there is a valid reason for not being able to pay.

Players who are not fully paid up cannot take the place of a fully paid member on the diamond, this is against Club rules.  Please do not be disappointed if you/your child are benched if you have not paid your/their fees.  

Players playing for more than one team

Where a player is registered in more than one team they pay the highest fee only.

• Joe plays for the U23 and U18 teams. He only pays the U23 fee.
• Bob plays in a Senior Men’s team, as well as the U23 and U18 teams. He only pays the Senior fee of $170 and $20 for each other grade. 

• Jane plays for Premier and U23 team. She only pays the Premiers fee of $230.00. 

Representative Player Voucher

Club members playing for Canterbury or New Zealand representative softball teams represent not only Canterbury or New Zealand but also the Club.  The Committee is proud of these players and their achievements.

By way of recognition for, and retention of these players, the Committee allocates to each Club member travelling with a representative team, a voucher. 

• The voucher is a credit that can only be used towards their registration fees for the following season, provided they are playing for the Club.
• Only one voucher is payable per player, regardless of how many representative teams they play in.
• The voucher is not redeemable in any other manner. ​​​​​​​

Fees for the 2023/24 season

Premiers $230.00

Senior Reserve $190.00

Seniors $170.00

Senior team fee of $1750 for the first 13 players and then $20 per xtra player but is required to be paid by 31st October.

U23's $130.00

U15-U18's $110.00

U11-U13's $90.00

Tball $70.00

If unpaid by the 31st Oct a penalty of $20 will be added.
