The first week of the A Grade competition has taken place and with a large number of players unavailable for this night all of the matches have yet to be completed.
There was enough play to have one upset individual result with Frank Cleverley, one of last years Men's Open residential semi-finalists, beaten by John Fox in a tight contest.


15 April 2015
Round two of the competition and good results for the Typhoons, Icebergs and Hurricanes with wins by 7-4 over their opponents. Still one match to be completed in this round however several of last year's leading individuals have started well again this year.

22 April 2015
An 8-3 victory by the Moonbeams has got their season on track. This sees them level with the Hurricanes on 7 points, trailing the Typhoons by 1. On the individual side Gary Soper, Louise Sandri and Edward Winchester remain unbeaten after 3 rounds.

29 April 2015
Comprehensive wins by Twisters over Sunshine and Typhoons over Icebergs by 8-3. The Typhoons remain at the top, 3 points ahead of Tornados, Hurricanes and Thunder.Individually Winshester and Soper maintained their unbeaten record while Sandri lost in 5 games to Stapp.

6 May 2015
The Typhoons suffered a big loss and while they remain at the top of the table they have been joined by the Thunder and Moonbeams, both of these teams having big wins. Gary Soper is the only unbeaten player now with a tight tussle for second spot between Winchester, Cleverley and Stapp.

13 May 2015
The Moonbeams have opened up a clear 3 point advantage over the Typhoons and Thunder who are only just ahead of 3 other teams. Soper remains unbeaten with Cleverley close behind. Stapp and Winchester have fallen behind after suffering losses.

20 May 2015
The Moonbeams on 22 points have kept their nose in front with the Thunder and Hurricanes back on 19 points. Soper is still heading for an unbeaten competition.

27 May 2015
The Thunder and Hurricanes have closed the gap at the top of the leaderboard to 2 points, both having narrow wins while the Moonbeams went down 5-6. Soper still unbeaten.

3 June 2015
The Moonbeams have opened up the gap again thanks to a comprehensive win over the Icebergs. The Rainbows thrashing of the Sunshine has seen them move into second spot. Who is going to stop Soper from his unbeaten run? Certainly nobody from this round.

10 June 2015
The penultimate round (although round one hasn't been fully completed yet) and another good win by the Moonbeams to keep them in front. The Rainbows had a close win to keep them in second however they have been joined by the Hurricanes after a comprehensive win 8-3 over the Thunder. Another good round for Soper and he remains unbeaten with only the Twisters team left to play and one catchup match.

17 June 2015
Soper still on course for a perect competition with only a catchup match to be played against David Butler. With only the catchup games to be played Cleverley's Moonbeams team remains at the top of the competition, despite Cleverley's upset 5 game loss to David Butler. They hold a 3 point lead over the Hurricanes with another point back to the Rainbows, who are closely followed by the Typhoons another point back.

24 June 2015 (catchup games)
All matches have been played and the positions can now be finalised. Soper unbeaten after a comfortable win over Butler, the Moonbeams had a vital 6-5 victory over the Cyclones while the only team that could catch them, the Night Sky (who had 2 catch up matches to play), had a win 7-4 and a loss 5-6.

Only 3 points covered the first 5 teams however the Moonbeams held on to beat the Night Sky by one point.
