A bad loss in the final match of the season was costly for the Drakes team of Sandy Lin and Nathan Durham. Leading by 3 points heading into this match they were comfortably beaten 11-22 by the Ducks. Grabbing this opportunity was the Kaka team of Yi Ran Ong and Chris Ottley who had a resounding 24-9 win over the Kea to grab the title by 9 points.
