After a break of three long years Lake Taupō District Sports Advisory Council is delighted to announce that the Taupo District Sports Awards 2023 will take place on Friday 3 November from 6.30 - 10.00pm at the Great Lake Centre, Taupo.

This formal awards evening with buffet dinner will have a strong emphasis on celebrating district wide sport across our three communities, and will recognise and share development of sport at a club and volunteer level, celebrate success across multiple junior athlete categories, honour sportspeople performing nationally and internationally and support athletes through the awarding of scholarships and grants.

Nominations can be made for the following categories:-

• Team of the Year (Primary Y1-8)
• Team of the Year (Secondary Y9-13)

• Sportsperson of the Year (Primary – Female)                Athlete in an
