SUMMER RIDES

Tuesday Evening

Start Location: Renner Park Golf Club Carpark.  Depart: 6.00pm

Ride route:  Steady climbing up Oropi Road, left at Warner Road and right into Hereford Road.  Turn left into Oropi Road and continue to top past Mountain Road. Descend down Oropi Road and climb up agin until Gluepot Road. Turn right here until Oropi Gorge Road. Turn right here descend and climb until you reach Oropi Road again.  

Regroup here. Descend down Oropi, Hereford and Warner Roads, then make your own way home from the bottom of Oropi Road. 

Generally two groups (depending on numbers). Fastest group starts first.

Slower riders catered for with a no drop social group.

Please ride single file on this circuit. 

In the first and last months of daylight saving all riders will need to carry lights.

Saturday

Start Location: KOOPS CYCLES cnr 17th ave and Cameron Road Tauranga.  

Depart: 7.00 am Summer

               7.30 am Winter

Ride route notified on the club Facebook page in the few days pior. A coffee stop towards the end of the ride is generally included.

Sunday

Start Location: Mobil, Chapel Street, Tauranga

Depart: 7.30 am

Social / Recovery ride. Leave Mobil, through CBD, Welcome Bay Road, side road, (to be advised each week), Bell Road, Parton Road, Papamoa Beach Road, Ocean Beach Road to Heath Street Cafe, Mount Maunganui for coffee.
