Please complete the form as either a new member or a returning member and follow the instructions on the registration page. You need to click three options - Athletics NZ, Athletics Waikato/BOP and the Age Grade. Returning members will be emailed to you.

Payment for the season must be made online. By doing this, all the children need to do on the first club night is pick up their age flash which will be ready for collection at the club rooms.

Fee Structure

Fees for the 2023/2024 season are:

3 & 4 years ‐ $40

5‐6 years ‐$60

7‐14 years ‐ $80

Youth (15‐19 years) -$95

Seniors (20 and Over) & Masters ‐ $110


FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

How old does my child need to be? 

Mini Club starts from age three.  This is age they will be on December 31st.

What grade will my child be in?

It is based on your child’s age as at the 31st December.  e.g. If your child turns 7 between 1st January 2017 and 31st December 2017 they are then placed in the 7-year-old grade.

After Christmas does my child go up a grade?

No, the grade your child is in at the start of the first club night. Is the grade your child will be at the end of the season in March 2023.

Is the registration fee only for Term 4?

No, the registration fee is for the whole season. 1/10/23 – 31/3/24. You do not need to pay again after Christmas in term 1.

​​​​​​​What time does club night start?

They start at 5:30pm for Mini Club (Grades 3-6).

Grade 7 - 9 also start at 5:30pm.

Grade 10 and up start at 6.30pm.

What time does a club nights finish?

We aim to have Mini Club completed by 6:15-6.30pm

Grade 5 to 9 we aim to have completed by 6.30pm

Grade 9 and above, we aim to have completed by 7.45pm

Is there a uniform? Where can I buy it?

The Club maroon and yellow singlet can be purchased from the club on the first three weeks of the season for $45.00 (child)/ $45.00 (adult) each or online (with a small surcharge) It is worn with plain black shorts.  After registration members are provided with an age flash that is sewn (not pinned) onto the front of the singletThere is generally a small second-hand market, details still to come.

What happens on a club night?

At club nights, there will be a mixture of coaching and, timing and measuring events. They provide the opportunity for athletes to set goals for the season in each event and try to improve their personal best.  In the 2023/2024 season we will continue with our club points system and complete the season with club champs.

Do ribbon days cost money?

There is no extra cost involved to enter a Ribbon Day.  Events such as the Regional Championships and the Waikato Relay Champs do have an entry fee.

​​​​​​​Do you have to attend ribbon days?

No, it is up to your athlete as to whether they attend Ribbon Days.  The Ribbon Days offer competition races and field events for your athlete’s age. They are fun and a great opportunity to compete against athletes from other clubs in the region.
