Baseball in Nelson was established in 2016 with the formation of the Nelson Heat Baseball Club

Te Tau Ihu Baseball Association aims to provide the structure, systems, support and formal processes required for the delivery of a broad range of competitions and tournaments and for the overall development of the game on behalf of its affiliated clubs  and schools in The Top Of The South and its individual members.

A primary objective of Te Tau Ihu Baseball Association is the encouragement and advancement of the game of Baseball in Clubs and Schools in the Top of The South Island.

Te Tau Ihu Baseball Association aims to provide opportunities for strong competitive sport from club / school to international level.
