The Metro Mount Albert Sports Club is parent to three proud sporting clubs, with a long association to the Mount Albert community. They are the Metro Football Club and Metro Mt. Albert Softball Club, with the newly formed Metro Diamond Sports ​​​​​​​taking residence in the North Harbour competition.

The Metro Mount Albert Sports Club is responsible for
* The over-arching governance of both sporting codes
* For managing the shared facilities at Phyllis Reserve
* For sport supporters and social users of the club's facilities.

Both Metro Football, Metro Softball and MDS are affiliated through annual membership to the Metro Mt. Albert Sports Club, with each respective code being affiliated to their Regional Sporting Organisation of Auckland Football Federation (AFF), Auckland Softball Association (ASA) and North Harbour Softball Association (NHSA) respectively. Players affiliate to the Sports Club by registering with a code.
