RATADALE SHIELD

Presented in 1983 by our Patron Geoff Thompson for an annual doubles competition between the Waiklanae and Levin Clubs. The  Trophy is named after the Ratadale Road, Reikorangi, the road to Geoff's farm at the time and where mature Rata trees once thrived.   Association and Golf are now competed for.

1st March 2023  The tournament against Levin was held at Waikanae. The weather was glorious and  warm with little or no wind.  A great day for Croquet.    There were some close games and I am sure all the players enjoyed their day.    Next year the tournament will be held at Levin. 

March 2024  -    Waikanae won the Shield  Association lost but Golf Croquet saved the day for Waikanae  .
