WAIMARINO PONY CLUB CRITERIA AND INFORMATION FOR TEAM REPRESENTATIVE COMPETITIONS / CHAMPIONSHIPS

Clubs throughout the North Island compete in various discipline competitions / championships organised by Clubs or some cases Areas, for Club teams.Waimarino PC supports members who want to try out for a team. Selection is either by a riding trial or by selectors based on the combination's results at various competitions and application form.

There is also the opportunity for riding members to become draft riders to make up team numbers. WPC takes advantage of the draft rider system to give our riders the opportunity to participate.

WPC appoints a manager and coach for each team, and pays the team entry fee, contributes toward accommodation, travel as per the table and also pays for coaching fees. A commitment fee is payable by members on selection to the team.

As well as the criteria set by WPC, members must have met the Rally Attendance Rule (General Regulation 15) and of course be a current member on the database.
