Rallies

Rallies are the foundation of pony club, where members gather on a formal basis to improve their riding skills and enjoy all kinds of activities connected with their pony, including Horse Management (HM). It is also where the highest ideals of behaviour, sportsmanship, citizenship, and loyalty are promoted.

Waimarino Pony Club is very much focused on FAF - Friends, Adventure & Fun!

Each rally begins with a Gear Safety Inspection (GSI) and offers a minimum of 1 ½ hours of coaching. Each rally will cover a balanced programme with up to four activities included based on the certificate syllabus and PC manuals; flatwork, jumping, games, and other riding activities, horse management and a lot of fun!

Mounted rallies are held at the Waimarino A & P Show grounds and the timetables for a double rally day and twilight rally is as follows – or close to these times.
