Pink zone is another exciting new game development initiative that Softball NZ are starting to promote. 

The concept is to attract girls between 9 and 12 years to play the game in hopes to grow girls/women’s softball, as the numbers have been declining nationally.
This doesnt mean if you are older than 12 you cant get in on the pinkzone vibe....any girls or women can get on board.

Pink Zone ties into any of the different versions of softball  played ………..so Peanut League, T ball, Rookie Sox (U13s), playball, slowpitch, Arena Softball and Over the Line.
The only difference is that its targeted at girls and everything is PINK; pink bats, gloves, etc
