The Wellington Travel League is an exciting competitive regional baseball competition. Every Sunday games are played across the Wellington region - from Wairarapa to Levin, and Hutt City to Porirua.
This season our club will enter teams the 14U and 16U Junior competitions. These teams are our Pirates club representatives, so a selection process may be required. Players in these programs are eligible for selection in the regional teams to compete at the Baseball NZ National Baseball Festival tournaments in 2024.
AGE GRADES
Travel League age-grades align with official Little League requirements -
- 14U PLAYERS ~ Must be 11 - 14 yrs ~ Cannot turn 14 on or before 31 August 2023
- 16U PLAYERS ~ Must be 14 - 16 yrs ~ Cannot turn 16 on or before 31 August 2023

REGISTRATION
The registration fee is $100 per player. Players who register for both the Development League and Travel League are eligible for a discount. (The maximum fee for any individual player will be $100).
23/24 SEASON
The 23/24 Travel League season will begin after Labour Weekend on Sunday 29 October until Sunday 10 December. It will recommence after a Christmas break on 4 February, until 24 March.
The games Draw will be confirmed during October, and will be published on our website.
Trainings will begin from Thursday 19 October.
