Annual membership fees are:

• Cubs (under 12 yrs) $30.
• Juniors (13-16 yrs)  $30.
• Seniors                      $60.

There are also family and couples concessions available.

An additional fee of $10.00 pp is required for membership affiliation to the NZFAA. This affiliation fee is compulsory.

A fee of $6 (adult) and $4 (jnr) for members is payable for Sunday shoots. This is to cover the cost of targets etc. It is slightly more for non-members that wish to shoot.

We also have a small number of bows and arrows that are available to hire at $10 a time.

For those people having their lessons the $10 fee allows us to cover the cost of providing the equipment and any repairs or replacements that may be needed (invariably arrows get broken or lost), but we do suggest to people that are keen and wish to carry on in the sport, that they obtain their own equipment as soon as they can. This allows the club to provide the equipment to others that wish to have a go, and it means that you will have a better chance of improving your own skills with your own gear as mentioned previously.

Above all else, the emphasis for our club is on having fun, and enjoying being outdoors shooting arrows and honing your skills with others that love the sport of archery.

Coaching

The club has several members that have a NZFAA level 2 recognised certificate and also an IFAA level 1 Internationally recognised certification of coaching ability and senior members are only too happy to impart the knowledge and experience that they have built up over the years, to new members and beginners to the sport. Sportsmanship and fellowship play an important role in the enjoyment of archery.

Coaching is run from  9 till 9 30 on a Sunday morning. We ask that anyone interested is at the club by 9 at the latest. We are not able to hold coaching at later times without prior notice as our coaches do their own shooting after the lessons.
