ABOUT US
We provide an affordable sporting opportunity for our community, striving to keep registrations low so that all families and children can participate.
We have teams playing football across the Tararua and Manawatu regions for all age groups.
We run the NZ Football Junior framework program which provides a great structure for coaching tamariki 4 to 14 years of age. We are affiliated with Central Football and are supported by them to deliver football in the community.
We have also worked very hard to promote sport through football in the community, encouraging families to come and watch/support on game days.
WAFC has become a major part of the small Woodville community. Our club is a place for families to connect, make friends, remain active and grow as people.
The club is run completely by volunteers (about 10-14) and promotes fair play, teamwork, social skills, and active movement. Coupled with this our committee is committed to making sport accessible no matter the socio-economic background of the family.
