The 2022 SC Don Reylands Final was played at Awamoa Gardens 26th Feb 2022.

There were 3 entrants. Shirley Lindroos (Geraldine(, Pat Gunn (Awamoa Gardens) and Carole Graham (Ashbury). Pat Gunn won with Carole Graham runner up. No individual scores were received.

Don Reyland SC final to be played at Waireka in Ashbhurton on 9/10th January, Manager Audrey Leath.  The winner gets to play in the NZ final in Nelson on 27/28th March 2021.

There were only three entries, Dave Galvin Waireka, Jack Ellery Geraldine, & Eric Scott Awamoa/Gardens. After play was completed the three players had two wins each. Results from the countback were Dave Galvin +8, Eris Scott -2 &Jack Ellery -8.  No individual game scores were received.


2020 Don Reyland played at Waireka, Ashburton January 4th.

There were four entrants and they played a round robin best of 3 games. The players Debbie Brunton Awa/G (12), Lindsey Thompson Aorangi (9), Brian Goodwin Waireka (6), and Christina Miller Geraldine (6).

Round one. Thompson 7-4. 4-7, 7-2 Brunton, Goodwin 7-4 7-1 Miller, Round two, Brunton 6-7, 7-6, 7-3 Miller, Goodwin 7-5, 7-4 Thompson. Round three, Goodwin 7-2, 7-2 Brunton, Thompson 7-5, 6-7, 7-4 Miller.

The winner was Brian Goodwin Waireka club with a clean sweep of all his games, Brian will represent South Canterbury at the National final in Palmerston north in March.


2019 Don Reyland played at Awamoa/Gardens, Oamaru on 5th January.

There were 5 entrants and they played a full round robin. The players Jack Ellery Geraldine 2, Bill Allnutt 3 Waireka, Jamie Parry Aorangi 5, Anne McMaster Waimate 6 and Sen Macmaster Awamoa/Gardens (Waitaki BHS) 12.

Round one, Parry 7 - 5 McMaster, Ellery 7 - 5 Allnutt. Sen Macmaster the bye.

Round two, McMaster 7 - 5  Sen Macmaster, Ellery 7 - 4 Parry, Allnutt the bye.

This event was called the Gold & Silver stars and was renamed the Don Reyland Silver Stars late 2017. It is a handicap Golf Croquet event played at club level then Association and finally the National final.

Played at the Waireka club in Ashburton on 7th January 2018, there were three entries and they played two rounds. Sue Cleveland Geraldine 3, Lindsay Thompson Aorangi 10, and Keith Robertson Awamoa/Gardens 10.
