Croquet South Canterbury Interclub report 2022-2023 season.

Eight South Canterbury clubs participated.   The draw was completed and emailed out to clubs, together with score sheets and CSC Competition rules, prior to round 1

 Advanced grade (3 entries) from Aorangi,  Geraldine and Waireka.   Each team played two rounds.  Games started on Monday 31 October.  There were no wet days, so all games were finished by 5 December.  Winner of the Advanced Grade was Aorangi 6 points, Waireka 2^nd 4 points and Geraldine 3^rd 2 points.

Intermediate grade (8 entries), from Aorangi Blue, Aorangi White, Awamoa Gardens, Geraldine, Waimate, Waireka Red and Waireka White.   Games started on Tuesday 25 October with 7 rounds. One team defaulted one game.  Winner of the Intermediate Grade was Awamoa Gardens with 12 points, 2^nd Waireka Red (11 Points), 3^rd Geraldine 8 points), 4^th Waimate (8 points), 5^th Waireka White (6 points), 6^th Aorangi Blue (5 points), 7^th West End (3 points), 8^th Aorangi White (3 points).

Primary Grade (8 entries), from Ashbury, Awamoa Gardens, Mt Hutt College Methven, Waimate Blue, Waimate White, Waireka Red, Waireka Red, West End.  Games started on Wednesday 26 October with 7 rounds.  One team defaulted one game.  Winner Ashbury (12 points), 2^nd Awamoa Gardens 11 points, 3^rd Waimate White (10 points), 4^th Waireka Red (9 points), 5^th West End (5 points), 6^th Waimate Blue (5 points), 7^th Waireka White (2 points), Mt Hutt College Methven (2 points)

A big thanks to the referees and senior players who refereed the Primary Grade teams each week.  This was very much required.    

Also a big thank you to the clubs who made their facilities available for games between outside clubs, this was very much appreciated.
