Ground Use:
DBPC riding members are able to utilise the grounds and jumping equipment, including the XC course provided they have an adult over the age of 18 years supervising at all times. Adult members, family members or friends MUST pay casual riding fees or a seasonal ground fee if they wish to ride on the grounds unless they are a committee member or coach. NZPCA adult member is only for pony club rallies and does not include a ground use membership.
The maximum height permitted to jump either in SJ or XC is 95cms (training). If you would like to jump higher, please submit the attached form to [email protected]. This request is subject to approval by the committee.
All riders jumping regardless of membership type require a supervisor 18 years or over.
- Riders over 16-years-old are able to school flat unaccompanied
- Riders 14-16-years-old are able to school flat in pairs or more
- Riders under 14-years-old must always have a person 18-years-old or over supervising.
Riders must wear pony club approved gear when riding. This includes long sleeves and red tagged back protectors on the cross-country course, and yellow tagged helmets at all times while riding on the grounds.

The grass arena is closed throughout winter and at other times due to weather. Please ensure you pay attention to signs and email or messenger notifications.
Rallies/events/practice days take priority of use in any area over all other riders.
