Dunedin Branch Pony Club

Team Events:

There are several Pony Club team’s events throughout the season, ranging from low key events to higher level competitions.

There will first be a call for expressions of interest (EOI) to members of our club. Please keep in mind some of these can be several months out from the event due to the organizers needing team “nominations”. This is purely like a deposit for the team however, no team is entered at this stage.

Closer to the event we will contact the riders to confirm if they still wish to ride in the team. From here, results will be requested (if required) and the selection panel will then choose the team (parents with a conflict of interest in the team will not be involved with the selection process). SAFETY is our priority when choosing teams.

We try to communicate events coming up so riders can work to qualify for a team over the season or winter, as there are regulations to qualifying and each event is different.

It is the riders responsibility for keeping track of their results throughout the season.
