Our Trustees

The role of our Trustees is to effectively govern the Trust, ensuring it meets its objects and purposes, and complies with all its obligations.

In March 2015, the HHCT was restructured to recognise the NHC partnership with North Harbour Hockey and Hockey New Zealand. It now comprises 5-7 Trustees being:

• One Trustee appointed by North Harbour Hockey
• One Trustee appointed by Hockey New Zealand
• Three to five independent Trustees appointed by a Trustees Appointments Panel

Trustees are appointed for a three year term, with an option to serve a further three years, by mutual agreement at the end of the first term.

New Trustee appointments

​​​​​​​Trustees are appointed by the HHCT Trustee Selection Panel which comprises:

• HHCT Independent Chair
• North Harbour Hockey representatives
• Hockey New Zealand representative
• Independent panel member (currently Sport New Zealand representative)
